About the Role:
Boxwood Learning Center Inc is looking for a passionate and purpose-driven Workforce Pathways & Restorative Justice Facilitator to join our team in Roselle, NJ. Responsibilities:
- Facilitate workforce readiness workshops, job skills training, and career development programming for program participants
- Design and lead restorative justice circles, conflict resolution sessions, and community-building activities
- Develop individualized reentry and employment plans in collaboration with participants and community partners
- Connect participants with job placement resources, vocational training, and employer partnerships
- Maintain accurate case notes, program documentation, and participant progress records
- Collaborate with community organizations, courts, and social service agencies to support holistic participant needs
- Advocate for participants and serve as a mentor and motivational resource throughout their journey
Requirements:
- Experience in workforce development, career coaching, or employment services
- Background in restorative justice, social work, counseling, or a related field
- Strong facilitation, public speaking, and group engagement skills
- Knowledge of reentry programs, criminal justice systems, or community-based services preferred
- Empathetic, culturally competent, and trauma-informed approach to working with diverse populations
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Criminal Justice, or related field preferred
- Proficiency in case management documentation and Microsoft Office or similar tools

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

We work to expose young people to careers in the science, technology, engineering, and math fields. Lastly, we provide supportive guidance to youth until they graduate from college or post-secondary programs.
